For the apple pie, quickly knead the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and butter together with the yolks into a dough. Line a greased baking pan with the dough.
Peel the apples and cut them into slices, cover the dough with them, bake at about 220 °C for about 25 minutes. Whisk eggs and cream, spread over the cake, bake again for about 5 minutes.
When cooled, remove from the pan.
Preparation Tip:
If you like, sprinkle a few chopped nuts or cinnamon on top. The apple pie also tastes delicious with raisins.
