Instructions:

For the plum crumble cake, sift flour into a bowl. Make a well in the center and pour in a few spoonfuls of the lukewarm milk, the sugar and the crumbled yeast.

Dust with a little flour and let rise covered in a warm place for about 15 minutes. Add egg, salt and butter and knead. Add milk, depending on the texture of the dough.

Knead the mixture into a smooth dough until it comes away well from the bowl. Then cover with a cloth and let it rise for about 20-30 minutes until it doubles in volume.

Cut the plums, pit them and cut them in half. Grease a springform pan. Press the dough together, roll out 2/3 of the dough and place it in the springform pan.

Roll out the rest of the dough and use it to line the edges. Cover with the plums in a fan shape from the outside to the inside. Knead all the ingredients of the crumble. Spread the finished crumble evenly over the cake.

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and bake the plum crumble cake for 30-40 minutes.
