For the mezzelune pesto prepare a pasta dough with the flour, salt and eggs. Cover this dough with a damp kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Then roll out the dough thinly and cut out circles 6 cm in diameter with a circle cutter (preferably a rolled one). Spread pesto on the center of these circles and press firmly together to form semicircles.
Cook the mezzelune pesto in plenty of salted water for 4 minutes, then toss in the butter and serve with grated Parmesan.
