Instructions:

For the honey wafers with chocolate sauce, first prepare the sauce. To do this, heat the cream and butter over medium heat, finely chop the chocolate and dissolve in the cream by stirring constantly. (Do not let the chocolate get too hot!!) and keep warm until ready to use.

Heat the waffle iron and grease with a little melted butter. For the waffles, cream the butter until fluffy, add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the honey and milk.

Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder and stir into the waffle mixture. Pour about 2 tablespoons of the batter at a time into the center of the bottom waffle iron and close the waffle iron. Bake each waffle for about 2 minutes until golden brown.

Place the finished waffles on a cooling rack and then serve the honey waffles with chocolate sauce.
