Instructions:

For the baklava, first prepare the honey sauce. To do this, bring water with honey, sugar and lemon juice to a boil and simmer gently for about 5 minutes.

Put half of the strudel dough sheets and brush with a little liquid butter. Mix pistachios and walnuts well and spread half of them evenly on the strudel dough sheets.

Place remaining strudel dough sheets on top and brush the whole thing with butter again. Put the remaining nut mixture on top.

Pour the honey sauce on top and bake in the oven at 180 °C top/bottom heat for about 30 minutes. Let the baklava cool down before serving.

Preparation Tip:

Sprinkle the baklava with pistachios.
