Instructions:

For the plum-ferment casserole, heat the milk with the butter. Knead with the remaining ingredients (except the plums and granulated sugar) to a smooth yeast dough. Let dough rise at room temperature until doubled in volume.

Knead dough again by hand and divide dough in half. Roll out one half of the dough and place in a greased baking dish. Stone the plums, cut them in half and place them tightly on the bottom of the dough.

Sprinkle the granulated sugar on top and cover with the remaining dough. Bake at 180 °C top/bottom heat for about 30 minutes. Arrange the plum and germ casserole and serve.

Preparation Tip:

Serve the plum and germ casserole with vanilla sauce, if desired.
