First, mix flour with baking powder, vanilla sugar and salt. Cream butter with nougat.
Mix in the egg and then knead with the flour mixture. Form into a thick roll and wrap in plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Cut slices from the dough roll and place them on the baking sheet.
Bake the nougat taler for about 8-10 minutes in the middle of the oven.
