Instructions:

Soak the bread roll in cold water. Peel the carrots and potatoes and cook until soft. In the meantime, remove the peel from the onion, dice finely and fry briefly in a little hot oil. Mix well with the minced meat, the egg and the squeezed out breadcrumbs. Season with herbs and spices. Form 4 meat loaves from the mixture. Cut the Camenbert into strips and a few cubes. Press the cubes into the meat loaves. Then fry the meat loafs in the remaining hot fat on both sides.

In the meantime, blend the carrots with a hand blender and gradually add the butter cut into cubes. Also mash the potatoes and fold into the carrots. Season with nutmeg, pepper, salt and freshly chopped parsley. Place Camembert slices on top of the meat loaves and bake briefly in the heated oven until the Camenbert runs slightly. Put the mashed potatoes and carrots in a piping bag with a nozzle and squirt onto four dinner plates. Serve with the baked meatballs.
