A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Knead a shortbread dough from the dough ingredients. Set aside to cool for 1/2 hour. For the filling, cream together butter, sugar and egg yolks. Fold in low-fat quark and custard powder until well blended. At the end, fold in the beaten snow.

Roll out 2/3 of the shortcrust pastry on the bottom of the cake springform pan, press up the edge by about 2 cm. Pour in the curd mixture. Puff the rest of the dough and sprinkle it over the top.

Bake at 180 °C for 70 minutes, leave in the switched-off oven for another 10 minutes.
