For the mini curd dumplings with marzipan core, mix well the curd, melted butter, salt, grated lemon zest and egg. Then add the flour.

Place in the refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour. Form small marzipan balls and cover each with curd dough and place in boiling salted water.

Simmer slowly until mini curd dumplings with marzipan centers float to the top. Drain and allow to cool.

Serve with butter crumbs, cinnamon and sugar.
