Try this delicious cake recipe:

(*) Waheenblech 26 cm ø Soak the raisins in hot water for about fifteen minutes.

Preheat the oven to 220 °C.

Spread the pastry on the baking tray. Prick the bottom of the dough a few times with a fork.

Remove the skin from the apples, cut them into quarters and remove the core. Grate them into a suitable bowl with the juice of a lemon. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Drain the raisins and stir them in. Spread the apple mixture evenly on the dough base. Stir eggs, half cream and vanilla sugar and pour over apples.

Bake the apple cake in a 220 oven on the lowest shelf for thirty minutes until golden.
