For the yeast dumplings, mix flour with sugar and salt. Add lukewarm milk, melted butter, eggs and yeast and knead well. Add a little more flour if necessary.
Cover and let rest for half an hour, then knead again and divide into portions. Form balls and let rise again.
Put salted water in a large pot and cover tightly with a dish towel. Place the dumplings on top and cover with a second pot.
Steam the yeast dumplings for 10 minutes, remove from the plate and let stand for another 5 minutes.
