(*) Party buffet Mix the minced meat with the soaked and properly squeezed bread. Mix the onion, the garlic, the parsley and the kitchen herbs with the meat. Add the eggs, vinegar, oil, pepper and salt and make a homogeneous paste.

If it becomes too tight, add a little tap water. Leave the meat dough to stand for 2 hours. Heat the oil. Take off the minced meat by the spoonful, arrange it into balls and roll them in flour. It is advisable to bake the “keftedes” in two frying pans at the same time, because the floured meatballs will get a dry skin if they are not baked on the spot.

Our tip: It is best to use fresh herbs for a particularly good aroma!
